Effect of AI Gender on Financial Literacy Outcomes
As part of CMU's 67-368 "UX Research for Product Managers" course, my team conducted a study examining how the perceived gender of AI agents (male vs. female) affects user understanding of financial literacy concepts. We prompt engineered a male and female chatbot and ran tests in Prolific to analyze differences in outcomes and stress levels among users who were assigned to each.
